We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Leonardo Carer Support, a charity supporting people in Dorset who provide unpaid care.
Through this partnership, unpaid carers and their families can redeem a sponsored meal at one of Poole Community Exchange’s community lunches. This offer is available from 2 February 2026 and can be used once by each unpaid carer and their family.
Community meals are open to everyone on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and are served by Poole Community Exchange at Parkstone United Reformed Church. Our freshly cooked, nutritious two-course meals are served between 12.15pm and 1.30pm, with a suggested donation of £5–£8. Guests can choose either a meat or vegetarian main course, followed by a choice of two desserts.
If you are an unpaid carer or would like to find out more about this offer, including eligibility, please speak to one of our volunteers when you arrive. Please note that we will be regularly reviewing this offer and it may change.

Leonardo Carer Support defines unpaid carers as people who give regular and ongoing practical and/or emotional support to someone who would not cope in their daily life without this help. The person being cared for may have physical or mental health needs, or an addiction. This also includes parent carers of children and young people with additional support needs.
If you are an unpaid carer, Leonardo Carer Support can provide further help, including advice, workshops, and wellbeing services. Visit Leonardo Carer Support’s website to learn more about their support services.
Poole Community Exchange is delighted to be partnering with Leonardo Carer Support on this initiative, and look forward to working together.
