FOOD

Poole Pantry
11.45am-1.15pm (a community pantry helping anyone on a low income to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. Members can shop at a fraction of the retail price).
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The PANTRY will be temporarily CLOSED on WEDNESDAYS from 22/07 to 2/09. Other projects- Community lunches, Poole Food Bank satellite location, Living Room and Community Fridge- stay OPEN. We will be offering more games instead on site.
Wednesday Fun & Games including table tennis, curling and other floor and table top games.
Community Fridge
10am-1.45pm (Overflow or short date stock. Free to anyone. Donations appreciated).
Living Room
10am-1.45pm (Refreshments, activities, friendship)
Community Meals
12.15pm- 1.30pm (a two-course home-cooked community meal available for a suggested donation of £5-£8+, up to 3 children free under 12 years old). The kitchen will be closed for cleaning on Wednesday 26th and Friday 28th August- no community lunches. Tea and coffee will still be offered; other projects- Pantry, Living Room- still operating.

Yeatmas coffee morning on Friday 14th August 11am-1pm in the Sanctuary.
The Right to Food Commission Workshop will be hosted on Saturday 22 August 10am-12pm in the Sanctuary by Neil Duncan-Jordan MP to try to help shape recommendations for a future Right to Food law and help vulnerable people to get affordable, nutritious food. Booking is essential.
Fundraising event– Please sponsor our Volunteer Paul J. and help him raise £700 (till 24th August) for the skydive planned on 12th September. Money raised will support our charity and 3 others. For more information, ask our coordinator/ Volunteers or look at posters displayed on site.
Harvest light lunch at the local Baptist Church on Sunday 11th October at 12.15pm. Booking is essential by 1st October.

Dorset Architectural Heritage Week trip on Wednesday 16th September – visiting for free Bournemouth Natural Science Society and Highcliffe Castle. Transport may be available, please let us know if you are interested. For more information, speak to Mark.
