THE PANTRY AND LIVING ROOM

FOOD

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY

Poole Pantry

11.45am-1.15pm (a community pantry helping anyone on a low income to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. Members can shop at a fraction of the retail price).

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The PANTRY will be temporarily CLOSED on WEDNESDAYS.

Other projects- Community lunches, Poole Food Bank satellite location, Living Room and Community Fridge- stay OPEN. We will be offering more games instead on site.

Wednesday Fun & Games including table tennis, curling and other floor and table top games.

Community Fridge

10am-1.45pm (Overflow or short date stock. Free to anyone. Donations appreciated).

Living Room

10am-1.45pm (Refreshments, activities, friendship)

Community Meals

12.15pm- 1.30pm (a two-course home-cooked community meal available for a suggested donation of £5-£8+, up to 3 children free under 12 years old).

A FREE LUNCH FOR A NON PAID CARER- please speak to our volunteers for more information

10am-1.45pm (e-vouchers and emergency food parcels can be issued to those who meet the criteria and are struggling).

ADVICE/ INFORMATION

Chaplaincy advice & support on Monday, Wednesday, Friday (12pm-2pm)

Citizen Advice -We now have the Citizen’s Advice back at Parkstone URC during the month of September 2026 whilst the library is having some building work done. The advisors are on site from 10am Monday- Thursday

CHILDREN and FAMILIES

ReGENERATE

Inter-Generational Group with a meal and activities 4pm-6pm, on 1st and 3rd Monday of the month; for a suggested donation of £2 per family. SUSPENDED TILL FURTHER NOTICE

Messy Church

Usually 4th Monday of the month 4pm- 6pm; suggested donation of £2

Sunday Service

every Sunday at 10.30am. All welcome

Explorers Children’s Sunday Church

service starts at 10.30am; Parents/Carers must stay at the church service; primary school children

Harvest Thanksgiving Service on 4th October.

HARVEST FOOD DONATION- please bring non perishable food in September to use it in the Pantry.

FREE workshops run by The Money Charity which can help you to improve your money management skills.

Sep 28th for Budgeting, Oct 5th for Credit & Borrowing and Oct 12th for Money Safety from 10.30 till 12 noon at Parkstone URC / Dickinson Hall. Booking is essential by emailing purcoffice@gmail.com or pce-info@poolecommunityexchange.org.uk

Harvest light lunch at the local Baptist Church on Sunday 11th October at 12.15pm. Booking is essential by 1st October.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am- 2pm (Hot drinks and cakes for a suggested donation of £1. Visitors can chat, join in with activities; book/ CD/ clothing exchange in operation)

Morning Prayer

Tuesday 10am- 11.15am; more information by request

Chair Yoga

Quiet Contemplation

Art& Craft Group

Monday and Friday 10.30am-12pm- Friday session currently suspended

Cookery Club

Cooking with our fantastic cooks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; gain confidence and learn new skills; contact the office for more info

Meditation/ Mindfulness

Roberts is no longer available on a Friday morning, however those participants can join his beginners class every Friday afternoon 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the church or in Broadstone on a Thursday afternoon. Hilfield Retreat Day

monthly trips to Hilfield Friary on Thursday 1st October and Thursday 5th November (The Friary, Hilfield, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 7BE, 9am- 5pm, donation £5-£10 plus donation for transport).

Boules game at Ashley Cross Green

Friday at 2.45pm; subject to weather. Please let us know if you would like to attend the session as we don't meet every week
