Poole Community Exchange and its projects, such as Poole Pantry, rely on the support of dedicated volunteers like you to continue our work in building a caring, sustainable, and connected community.

We have a variety of part-time opportunities, some based on site and others working from home.

Volunteering Opportunities

  • Pantry/Shop Assistant –  pricing, stacking shelves, greeting members, checkout and signing up of new members.
  • Food Server – helping dish up our delicious Community Meals.
  • Administrator –  collating statistics, organizing rota, dealing with applications to be volunteers and pantry members, filing.
  • Driver – collecting surplus food from local pick-up points and delivering to PCE.
  • Marketing Co-ordinator – help promote PCE and its projects.
  • Wellbeing Session Provider – we currently offer wellbeing sessions such as meditation and counselling. Do you have a wellbeing skill you could share?
  • Trustee – we require committed trustees to realise our vision.
  • Secretary – ensure the smooth functioning of the board of trustee meetings and reports.
